In Midtown, Trillist officially unveils YOO on the Park floor plans, prices

From atlanta.curbed.com, September 20, 2016

Building pushes rental benchmarks, touting luxury, location, but tiny living here will cost north of $1,500 monthly

YOO on the Park, a 25-story luxury apartment stack long in the making, is moving closer to its first move-ins, with the official release of floor plans and pricing.

The bottom line: Getting a foot in the door at YOO, which would mean bagging a studio with 540 square feet, will cost at least $1,510 monthly. For comparison’s sake, Ponce City Market’s smallest studios are larger (575 square feet) but similarly priced ($1,526).

Maybe the golf simulator and swanky pool at YOO is worth sacrificing that 35 square feet.

While this building at the cusp of Piedmont Park topped out earlier this year, and pre-leasing informationhas been available all summer, the opening of the sales center and official release of information means moving trucks are on the horizon.

The highly anticipated project features 245 studio, one-, and two-bedroom luxury rental apartments, as well as a little more than 1,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. According to the release, there will be four plans available:

  1. Studios — clocking in at 540 square feet — are available on floors eight through 14 and range between $1,510 and $1,590.
  2. For those who like walls between their bedroom and living space, a 747-square-foot layout (not including balconies which range from 66 to a staggering 341 square feet) will be available on floors seven through 24. Those units will start at $2,123 and go up to $2,333.
  3. Two-bedroom, two-bathroom units, also available on floors seven through 24, will start at $2,290. Featuring 1,152 square feet of indoor living space and between 145 and 519 square feet of outdoor space, the units go all the way up to $3,200.
  4. Finally, for those flush with cash, penthouse units with two bedrooms and two bathrooms — each 1,923 square feet with an additional 221 square feet of outdoor space — list for $5,076.

Scott Leventhal, president and CEO of developer Trillist, heralds the project as “providing a level of luxury and service that is unmatched in the Atlanta market, with resort-style amenities and lifestyle-relevant services.”

According to the building’s website, YOO on the Park will offer a range of outlandishly lavish amenities which are becoming the norm as Atlanta projects strive to differentiate themselves.

Unique offerings include an indoor pet grooming and bathing facility, meditation and yoga studios, an organic seasonal herb garden, a golf simulator and gaming theater, iPad mini-controlled media and billiards lounge, a juice bar, and a library.
