Design + Art

As developers of the built environment, Trillist is driven by the philosophy that great design should be present in every moment of our lives. Great design has the power to transform and enrich us every day, offering us new ways to see, connect, and create. It is said that great design should be invisible, and in a way, we believe that is true; a perfectly-proportioned room gives us a feeling of peace and satisfaction, though we may not be immediately conscious of why or how. But design can also deliver flat-out “wow”, impact and grandeur, delighting and inspiring us through innovative materials, forms and scale. Trillist continually strives to partner with designers who push themselves to put forth the very best in global design.

Founded by international property entrepreneur John Hitchcox and ubiquitous designer Philippe Starck, YOO is a residential and hotel design company offering the creative visions of world renowned designers Philippe Starck, Marcel Wanders, Jade Jagger, Kelly Hoppen, Steve Leung and the YOO Studio. With 51 projects in 40 cities and 26 countries, throughout Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, North and South America and the Middle East, YOO is a thoroughly international lifestyle brand. Art and Artists

At Trillist we are constantly aware of the inspiration and life that art brings to our communities. It could be a touch of the unexpected, a window into the mysterious—whatever causes us to pause, reflect, and remember. Place-making is about more than square feet and premium finishes (though we are proud to deliver those); it is about creating new and unique experiences that delight and engage. For this reason, we strive to seek out and promote local art and artists in our carefully crafted properties.
